Spooky Storytime and Costume Parade

Come in costume to a special spooky story time! Following story time, children will be invited to show off their costumes on a trick-or-treating parade through the library.

All 0-5 year-olds and their caregivers are welcome to join us at the Paul S. Sarbanes downtown library to share songs, rhymes, and stories together on the first four Thursdays of each month. Studies have shown that singing aloud and sharing books aloud help your child's brain development and health. This half-hour program is designed to introduce young children and their families to foundational elements of literacy. Additionally, story time will provide an opportunity for children and their caregivers to make new connections in their community and find new ways to play together. The program is free and does not require registration.
