Tanisha Armstrong

Tanisha Armstrong came to the area as a UMES student almost 25 years ago. Since then she has spent more than half of her time as an Eastern Shore resident. She’s a mother of five who is a homeschooling parent to the families’ two youngest members. Along with her husband, Aaron, Tanisha owns Pinnacle Transportation Services, a local small business. She is an active member of her church with a passion for ministry to women and children. The success of families and children are especially important to her. Tanisha’s professional expertise includes program development and management for non-profits and faith-based organizations in the Baltimore-Washington area, for local school systems and the Wicomico County Circuit Court. The library in her hometown was a fixture in her life as a child. Now it plays a tremendous role in her daily life and that of her family. She is very excited to support Wicomico Public Libraries.
